As you may already know the HIPAA 5010 transaction standards will affect almost every aspect of a practice’s reimbursement and revenue stream. Physicians will be facing many challenges with the new 5010 transaction standards. Medical billing software systems may need to be upgraded to comply with the new transaction standards.
